Treasures & Secrets
A part of the make-up of my artistic soul is to adventure as in inner navigator, astronaut, miner, and explorer. To allow for unique, one of a kind expression to flow through me with soft detachment. Rather than repeat what it is that has just come through me, to be open to another entirely unique expression. This, presently, is not the way of the art market, not that I know a great deal about this market. But my limited observation is that creatives settle into a niche, a style, and create within this box. Who I am as an individual, and my life circumstances, has asked something else from me. I freely give myself permission to let these one of a kind bits and bobs flow through me. Because of this - I title this emerging ceramics collection treasures and secrets. Anything one of a kind is like a beautiful treasure with a secret from the ineffable edges and depths of my heart. A profound act of love. Giving and creating for sake of responding to the beauty of the container of my existence. Mother nature.
