When She Dances
Dance making, for 3 decades, was the center of the centrifugal creative force that drew me in and out of the plethora of mediums of expression that sought my effort in bringing fresh metaphor relevant to the moment into being. With
focus comes mastery, and with mastery comes the ability to transpose the insight into other arenas.
The dance becomes the clay, the song, the costume design, the book projects, the sculptures, the creative thought, the article for publiction.
I am emerging from a period of 7 years of intentionally de-dancifying my body in interest of discovering a technique/process/way of living that is:
a. sustainable
b. will enable me to access movement vocabulary relevant to the times.
c. restores the humanity stripped from me in pursuit of establishing a dance technique base.

"perfect dance poetics"
